something a little different.

The problem with having two children at home under the age of 2 is that there is very little time to sit and write. I have lots to share and very little chance to do that – I even have some sweaters finished that I never blogged about! I’ve decided that when I would like to post – I’m hoping to start posting roughly every 10 days again – so 3 times per month – but can’t get in typing time, that I’ll record a quick video and post some links to things I mention.

This isn’t meant to be a videocast so it will only be uploaded here … think of it like a talking picture post!

Things I talked about today:

I would love to hear what you are working on and how you balance life with your hobbies/interests/pursuits!

Have a great week :)

  1. I really liked this. I’m also finding it hard to find time to type but I don’t like listening to myself on video… need to find the time I guess.

How do you like the ring sling? I got a regular sling when T was born but it was really awkward. Ended up not using it.

    1. Hi Kelly – I know what you mean – I don’t like my voice either but I want to get posts out!! Haha I love the ring sling – it’s a Maya wrap. I wish I’d had one with James!!

Loved the video post! I know it’s not knitting related, but I’m wondering what sling you’re using. I’m 38 weeks pregnant with my second and have a toddler running around. I have a feeling I’ll be baby wearing more this time and want something easy to use (and comfy for me and baby). Btw, you seem to be getting a whole lot more knitting done than me, if that helps put things in perspective. Your projects look great!

    1. Hi Natalie – thank you! I knit when I can … Which often means I don’t get house work done!! I’m wearing the Maya sling. It’s been great as I can breastfeed in it and it’s super comfortable. I also have a baby Bjorn which I use when I’m doing stuff around the house. And an Ergo for walks/hikes. I’m big into baby wearing – it’s just easier!! And it’s been necessary this time round!!!

  3. I love love LOVE the video blog post! I hope you’ll do more! Cosy (me) is looking great in that colour and the sweater for your dad would look awesome with wooden toggle buttons. Have you considered etsy for buttons? I’ve seen some really beautiful handmade wooden ones on there.

    1. Oooh good idea on the buttons from Etsy!! I’ll have a look!

  4. I loved your video post.
