progress. slow and steady.

I thought I would just stop in quickly this week while we are in the midst of fighting off bugs and flu to show you what I’ve been working on in the evenings. This isn’t going particularly fast but I have enjoyed this spin thus far.

This is the second of 4 ounces from Sweet Georgia Yarns’ December 2014 Fibre Club. The base was called Glitterati and it is a blend of superwash merino, nylon and sparkle. It has been a fun spin due to the sparkle.

I saw on Ravelry that a few people were planning socks with this due to the superwash and nylon content. I contemplated that as well but because I had double club, I thought I would see what my yardage after a traditional 2-ply is before making any decisions. I have definitely ruled out socks but I’m contemplating a simple vest.

I’ll check back in soon with the full 8 ounces finished :)

Happy Spinning :)
