This is the first year I have finished the Completely Twisted and Arbitrary Spin the Bin event. I haven’t wanted to participate before because I’ve never had projects hanging over me until the end of 2015! I usually work on one or two projects at a time, then move onto other things once they are complete. The idea of having some things ongoing that I wasn’t finishing was a new feeling. Spinning from a bin of items that I wanted to finish was good motivation to stay focused and feel the satisfaction of finishing some great projects. I’ve even knit a vest from one of the spins!
I spun a total of 43.9 ounces over five projects. The rules and whatnot for Spin the Bin are here if you are curious. Here is a skein each of my finished projects:

Although I’m really happy this is done because I have a few things planned for the finished yarn, I’m surprised how fast this spun up! It’s only July and I’m completely done so if I participate next year, I’m thinking I’ll add another 1/3rd to my bin at least.

Congrats!! They are lovely spins. I’m woefully behind (again) but only because I wasn’t working on my bin. I think tour de fleece will help. Hope springs eternal.
