Sometimes there are no words.
To have a dog’s love woven into the story of your life is a God gift.
I’m thankful for that quote from a friend. We will miss Charlie immensely and I’m so thankful to the community for the kind words you’ve sent already.
We made the painful decision on Friday to help him leave us on Sunday morning. Saturday was dubbed ‘Charlie’s Day’ by my son. We went to the park and played, took some photos and visited with friends on our street who all wanted to say goodbye. We had many nicknames for our Charlie, including but not limited to C-Bear, Bears, Big Tuna, Tuna, Tuna Fish and of course, Charlie-pup-pup (my nickname for him).
He is much missed and has left a hole in our home, hearts and lives.
Charlie ‘Bears’, gone but never forgotten. January 10, 2010 – April 15, 2018
Neither heights nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God.
– Romans 8:39
The loss is immeasurable, but so is the love left behind.
