Notes for Episode
WestCoast Colour BFL+Silk – 100gr
(Ravelry Project Page here)
- Lendrum Saxony 18:1, double drive
- spun half without pre-drafting or attenuating, striped and attenuating for 2nd half
- AShford eSpinner 3 – perfect for a quick ply
- plied from centre-pull ball
Pressed Flowers Cardigan – Amy Christoffers
(Ravelry Project Page)
- pick up on sleeves challenging – difficult to get correct number of stitches
- need enough for the stitch repeat
- ended up with one full repeat short in the drop shoulder, where the sleeves start
- (?) too small
WestCoast Colour ‘Toothy’
(Ravelry Project Page here)
- Majacraft Rose, 27:1
- spinning continuous backwards, smoothing lightly, allowing texture to go through
- keeping distance of draft
- definitely toothy
Kainuu Harmaas
(Ravelry Project Page)
- continuous backwards with gentle smoothing
- lock pop → drumcarding with 4 passes → carding up small nest and pre-attenuating from there
