From Kai in the Slack channel:

It is so fun to see how much the weaver’s community is growing at Wool n’ Spinning’s slack channel. I’m finally done with my Masham project and wanted to share the outcome. This was definitely a teaching project. I learned that drafts and the fabric they “make” are directly related. Duh! I learned that when you “think” you will be doing balanced weave and in reality end up doing 16 ppi vs. 8ppi, you will only use ½ of the warp you thought you would. – Bummer. I learned that not every draft lends itself for making a scarf. And I also learned that when you thought you will be making a 65” long scarf and instead get a 40” one you call it a runner. Love the outcome!
Full of color and texture.
I think the draft would make a great rug as well.@Jahanara and @Megan Lykke the “strip fading in” worked really well I think.
Thanks for the help!
