On the Bobbins

Year of Colour Sampling – colour wheels, both acid- and naturally-dyed; value scale; complement blends

  • Lock Pop of naturally dyed Coopworth – started with Saxon blue indigo derivative
  • Value Scale (achromatic) – added extra samples to even out the scale to be seamless
  •  Value Scale (chromatic) – working through orange to black then through to white (not finished yet)
  • Adding Black to create shades – complement blends, triadic blends
